Sequoyah uses 0.1 micron filters online in the RCS filter (letdown system). We change that to a 1.0 micron just prior to an outage. We use layered macroporous resins in our demin beds. The combination cleans up the crud burst without excessive change out of the filters. We replace with the 0.1 micron prior start up.
