At the South Texas Project, our Ludlum Model 12-4 neutron meters are calibrated using a PuBe source by a vendor. For the containment building, we have a correction factor which we apply to readings. The correction factor was developed using Bonner sphere measurements. Readings outside the containment building are not corrected. Currently, we do not have a dry cask storage facility.

Do you have different calibrations for your neutron meter or do you apply a correction factor? Thanks Charles W.
