North Anna recently experienced an unexpectedly high rate of delta-p driven change-outs of primary coolant demineralizer effluent filters during our return to power after a brief [<14 day] outage. The filter in question was 0.1 micron absolute on the effluent of a mixed bed demineralizer with orthoporous resin. North Anna is interested in hearing from other sites using sub-micron filters in combination with macro(ortho)porous resins.
