Columbia's response.
Progress Energy's Brunswick Site would like information on the following:

1. Do you have a dedicated training facility or laboratory at your site
to conduct Radiological Protection training? If so explain.
We have a training facility that houses all station training, in that we have a
designated RP classroom. We also have access to a shared building that has a
working water transfer skid where we can have Dynamic Learning Activity's
(DLAs), and other hand's on training, but it is not dedicated to RP training
only.

2. How do you track and document future actionable items that require
review by the Curriculum Review Committee (CRC) or the Training Program
Committees (TPC)?
i.e. If student feedback was given to include more system training during
cycle, how do you track and document the decision making from the time it is
included in the student cycle roll-up to the final decision made at the
CRC/TPC- (which might be several months later.)
We use the corrective action program to assign action items. If a student were
to suggest a need for training they would be asked to write a Training Request
which would be reviewed in the next Circular Review Committee (CRC). The
Training Request data base houses all of the training/non training solutions
for each Training Request and action assignments are cross linked with the data
base.

3. Do you have a procedural time limit that requires the line to have an
Individual Developmental Plan (IDP) or initial training plan approved for a new
hire?
No we do not have a procedural time limit for this.
