Bruce Power uses Overhoff tritium monitors. We have both the portable variety
and the area monitors (Overhoff 357s). These are our main tritium instrument.
Generally we have no issues with these instruments and find them to be more
accurate than the Scintrex when we compare to passive samplers that are
analyzed via LSC.
You should note that you cannot use them in a dose rate of more than 5 mrem/hr
and get an accurate reading. However, the grab sample feature is used for this
purpose (draws a sample and you shut the pump off, move to a low dose area and
read out). The only general complaint about them is that they can take a
little while to purge, especially if they have been in a highly tritated
environment. This is on the order of minutes though.
We have also found ways of using our overhoff 357s in higher dose rate areas by
using shielding and dessicant.

Hope this helps. If you would like very technical information I can put you in
touch with some of our instrument folks.

Never used on from these guys:

...but the specifications are good. Used to be a company (Sintrex/Sartrex)
that made a portable tritium monitor. Not sure it there are many other vendors
than Overhoff for portable monitors.

You might try to contact someone at the Savannah River DOE site or Chalk River
(AECL) in Canada. They have lots of tritium and no doubt can provide you much
information on the topic.

Subject: Powernet: Portable Realtime Tritium Monitors

Hi All!

We recently got some funding for some new Tritium monitors. We currently use
Tritium bubblers, but were looking for something with real-time data.

Does anyone currently utilize another type of tritium monitor that they would
recommend?

Thank you!
