At SONGS we air dry smears. Some of the tech's have been known to use our desiccant dryer, but we discourage that technique as it doesn't comply with station fire code...

Powernet: Drying Wet Smears

Hi All,

Simple question for a Friday afternoon…I hope.  Do you have a method for drying wet smears other than simply waiting?  If so, what do you use to accelerate the drying process.

Thanks,

Linda
