Good morning BWR RP community. I am working on a project to
process and dispose of some control rod blades from an BWR.
Can anyone tell me what the waste classification of the blades are?
I'm sure the classification depends on the length of irradiation since the
limiting nuclide seems to be Ni-63.
If you could tell me the ratio of Co-60 to Ni-63 in your blade(s) that
would be a
great help.
