Columbia requires all Rad Workers to complete a TRIP ticket prior to RCA entry,
radiological information is obtained from routine survey maps at HP Access
Control, after completing the TRIP ticket each worker checks in with the Lead
HP Technician. The Lead Technician reviews the work to be completed and will
discuss the task with the crew and then sign the TRIP tickets. HRA and LHRA
TRIP tickets are signed after the HRA or LHRA briefing is complete.

Subject: Powernet: Radiological Briefings

McGuire would like to know if anyone in the industry does this:

For non-HRA/LHRA radiological briefs, do you ever brief only a lead person on
RWP, radiological conditions etc. so that the lead person can communicate the
information to the remainder of the crew?

Asked another way, is the entire work crew required to obtain radiological
conditions/precautions directly from Radiation Protection for jobs that do not
require entry into a HRA or LHRA?

Thanks
