North Anna does not make any special accommodations for glucose tablets, monitoring or insulin injections. We have a policy for heat stress which allows drinking water in the RCA, but not for any personal medical conditions.

C. Summer would like to know how other stations handle requests or make reasonable accommodations for diabetic workers in the RCA. · Do you allow only glucose tablets? · Do you allow them to carry any food & drink into the RCA? If so, is it limited to certain items? · Do you provide break/rest areas or private areas in the RCA for glucose level monitoring or insulin injection? Does anyone have a written policy they'd be willing to share?
