Duke Energy RP milestones: Number: M-6b Description: Preliminary Dose Estimate Window: T-15 to T-12 Owner: Radiation Protection Manager Expectations and Deliverables: RPM - Develop an outage dose estimate and compare against the current fleet and industry goals, identify known vulnerabilities, and present the results to the ORB. RPM - Ensure that the known vulnerabilities and variances are being monitored and are being tracked. Milestone Requirements: Milestone met if the milestone owner and Outage Manager agree that the expectations and deliverables were met with integrity prior to T-12: Required Performance Indicator(s): Not required Logic: The T-15 start milestone allows Radiation Protection Manager to start developing the dose comparison as soon as ENG completes their validation and review of the Outage Scope Plan and after WCG has developed a shell schedule that can provide a projected outage duration. The T-12 milestone closure allows dose considerations to be factored into the scope certification process and also the development of the outage scope plan. Comments: The T-15 to T-12 window does not coincide with the annual goal setting cycle for Fall outages. The Fall estimate will be estimated mostly from typical routine work, the targeted outage duration, and any information already in the Long Range Plan.
Number: M-25 Description: RWP's and TSR's Identified and Completed Window: T-5 to T-1 Owner: RP Manager Expectations and Deliverables: RP - At T-5 begin identifying RWP's needed to support outage scope RP - At T-1 RWP's are completed and ready for use RP - By T-2 ensure all TSR's have been delivered to Engineering for approval ENG - At T-1 ensure all TSR's have been approved and ready for use Milestone Requirements: Milestone met if the milestone owner and the Outage Manager agree that the expectations and deliverables have all been met with integrity. Required Performance Indicator(s): Not required Logic: The T-5 milestone start coincides with the issuance of the Initial Logic Schedule - Rev B Schedule. The T-1 milestone closure ensures one month for crews to complete walkdowns and prep efforts.
