I do not know of any manways inside the torus to enter the vent header
at BFN. All entries I have seen are through the drywell. The entrances
to the vent header at Browns Ferry are in the Drywell and they are about
knee high. It has always been a challenge and gets harder as you get
older. Not much typically goes on in the vent header. I know of no
plans on any enhancements.

Subject: Powernet: Potential Safety Concern at Torus Vent Header
Entrance

The vent header manway entrances inside the Brunswick Torus are
approximately "belt high" and can be a challenge for some of larger
radworkers to enter and exit. There is contingency coatings work in the
Torus vent header that may require multiple entries.

Question: Has anyone made enhancements in the area of their Torus vent
header manways to improve the safety of entries into and out of them??
