Ginna is experiencing elevated containment airborne tritium (1.77 E-5 uCi/ml - 0.9 DAC, historical cycle peaks 3E-7 to 5E-6) with no apparent source of Reactor Coolant leakage (containment radiogas is not elevated as would be expected with RCS leakage).
Benchmark Questions: What is your containment airborne tritium concentration? Type of plant? (Ginna is 2-loop Westinghouse PWR) Have you experienced elevated tritium airborne in containment and what was the probable cause? Have you ever implemented urinalysis for containment entries due to tritium exposure?
