At Exelon, we use version Sentinel 1.11.02 with the LDM-320W. We had to modify the RcaAccess_Dosimeters.ini file. The file was made for the DMC2000, but the DMC3000 should be compliant. Verify the dosimeter commo mode of DMC2000 vs G2 with Mirion and Sentinel. There is a bit in a status word that pertains to an external detector for the DMC2000 that is not relevant for the DMC3000. We would get an error for a corrupted cal factor because a cal factor is not stored at that address in the DMC3000. Operations with Sentinel and the DMC3000 has been very clean. Using DMC3000 dosimeters at 6 sites.
Worked with Mirion and Sentinel to make some simple mods to the ini file. In general, the dosimeter has performed better than expected. You expect to see bugs that were not detected in manufacturer testing once you give it to radworkers at multiple sites, but that’s not what we’re seeing. I query the error logs and don’t see scary DMC error messages either. Been a DMC user since 1992 and was a Siemens user for ~6yrs and we’re happy with the absence of issues so far. We’ll go through our first outage season this fall.
