Hello All,

D. C. Cook would like to know alternate methods for monitoring noble gas
effluent pathways in the event they are inoperable and there is an accident
involving a radiological release through those pathways. The required
action in our technical requirements manual does not specify how the
monitoring is to be done and we would like to determine the best way
possible. Our current method for alternate monitoring is having chemistry
analyze grab samples. Digging through old archives indicates that the
initial method used was a calculated contact dose rate to concentration
factor.

Thank you for your response,
