1. Do you perform a HRA key inventory?

Yes

2. What is your process?

Shiftly inventory

3. Do you differentiate your HRA keys from other keys? (ex. Colors, tags,
etc.)

Diff tags with unique numbers. Key only opens lock for that area which prevents
inadvertent access into another area.

4. Is this driven by procedure?

Your Tech Specs may say you need to follow the administrative key processes set
forth in procedure. There was a recent violation where the HRA procedure said
you could only issue a LHRA key to an RP person and they issued to a Laborer.
This did not follow the HRA procedure and therefore violated Tech Specs because
they didn't follow the administrative key control processes. I don't see how
you could end a shift without accounting for your keys. I understand Some
people have different start times and may need a key over the time when RP
changes shifts, but if a key was out there too long because someone took it
home or forgot to return it and RP could have identified it by inventorying
keys at the end of the shift, then RP would be part of the root cause. I'd
think the shiftly inventory is probably the industry standard and I could never
think of a good reason to go multiple shifts without accounting for my keys.
