I have enough experience to check the neutron energy range they are rated for.
Some that I have tested don’t work or are not rated for neutrons <70 keV, which
is the bulk of our neutron energy spectrum outside the bioshield.

We are pursuing the use of classic REM-balls with newer meters attached.

Subject: Powernet: neutron meter question

Does anyone have experience with the newer types of neutron survey meters which
are lighter than REM Balls?

Such as the RADeCO Pro-Lite made by Fuji, or the Ludlum Model 2363 with 42-41L
detector?

(Or any thoughts about the advantages of the newer model REM Ball--Ludlum
2241-4?)

Please let me know which type of neutron meter you use, especially if it's one
of the newer models, and how you like it.

Thanks in advance!!!!
