Duke Energy would like to know the following:
1. What frequency do you perform source checks on portable instruments checking all scales against a known value, i.e. Shepherd or Hopewell calibrator? Daily, Weekly, other- please elaborate. 2. How are the sources checks documented; hard paper copy or electronic database? 3. How many portable instruments do you maintain in service during non-outage periods, i.e. Ion Chambers, Extendable, MicroR, etc.? 4. Who performs the checks; dedicated instrument group, shift RP techs, field ops techs, or individual using instrument? Thank you in advance for a quick response.
