Greetings!

Callaway wishes to ask about how hard hats in Contaminated Areas at your
station. Yes, I understand this pops up about annually.

Please reply to the list, or off list, at your preference.

1. Do you allow workers to wear personal hard hats in posted Contamination
Areas? Hard hats are company issued but go in and out of CA with worker.

2. For those that do

a. Do you use hard hat covers? Yes. Covers are removed prior to exiting CA
then hard hat is put on again to proceed to PCM.

b. Do you allow personnel to wear their hard hat through the Personnel
Contamination Monitor? Yes

c. Are hard hat mounted lamps addressed differently (do you require hard
hats with lamps to be released via the SAMf)? No, lamps on hard hats remain on
hard hats when going through PCM. Note that cover is over lamp with hole cut
out for lens.

As always, Thanks much
