Yes at Cook. Current TSC is located above the Control Rooms within the power
block.
New TSC is being built at the edge of the Protected Area, outside of the power
block. I would assume we’d still have TSC folks maintain resp quals
considering TSC could quite possibly be in a plume pathway… right up the access
road.

Cook has an AMS-4 and AMP-100 (or SRM-100) that is used to monitor TSC
habitability. New TSC will employ Mirion instrumentation.

Duke Energy would like to pose the following question for Industry Response –

Does your site/fleet require personnel that support Emergency Response
Organization (ERO) positions in the Technical Support Center (TSC) to maintain
respirator qualifications?

The TSC at Catawba Nuclear Station is inside the Protected Area and also has a
monitor that continuously monitors for radiological contaminants in the
supporting ventilation system.

Thanks in advance for your responses.
