>From Callaway We use the Xradin Shonka Wyckoff chamber, A3, A4 and A6 ionization chamber. The readout is a Keithly 35040 electrometer (Not manufactured anymore, but I believe Fluke bought the product line and has an electrometer that will automatically do the temperature and pressure adjustments).
Standard Imaging in Madison Wisconsin would be the contact for the chambers (and probably an electrometer). The Transfer Calibrations are performed by the University of Wisconsin - Madison, Accredited Dosimetry Calibration Laboratory, (John Mickas Lab). Although we send the equipment to Standard Imaging for pre checkout and interface with ADCL. ADCL does maintain A2LA accreditation. You do have to specify a 137Cs calibration, or you will get a 60Co calibration, and you do need equilibrium caps on the chambers. We have two Shepherd 89 Box calibrators. We had custom ion chambers built with short stems to provide the geometry (to fit in the box). We have had a free air (beam port) irradiator in the past, and used the same equipment for it, but those were stock stems. Questions or comments, Call or email.
