At Braidwood (Exelon) we wear the hardhats through the monitors. Our main monitors are ARGOS 5AB.

Occasionally there will be some gas build up and the workers will need to leave their hard hats until it dissipates. We monitor hardhats in our tool and equipment monitors (we have some older SAMs and some newer Cronos 4 tool monitors). Given that the head detector establishes it’s height for both the front and back counts during the initial survey (front count), what practice do you utilize to survey both the top of the head (without hard hat) and the top of the hard hat?
