1. We have not had trouble with the clips breaking.

2. We have not implemented any type of double clip. In the few FME zones
we would use tape.

3. We currently have not used a positive off-set/Bias in the two years we
have used DMC 3000. Our only problem has been an accumulation of the 0.1 mR
during the 6 month periods for workers that wear the DMC3000 the entry shift.

4. The improvements make the DMC 3000 much better. Besides the
accumulated 0.1 mR DMC3000 (and mirion TLDs will report 0 mrem when the DMC3000
accumulated dose in six months might get up to 15 mR for some workers) .. the
larger displays are nice but they due crack... the AA batteries are great
compared to the DMC2000 batteries and retaining cap that would become
loose(and the associated small wires attached to the battery ring. So far the
transmitters for the DMC3000 have worker good with the DMC3000. We have not
implemented the few neutron modules with the DMC3000 G3. We are waiting to
implement sentinel 1.11 this summer.

Subject: [powernet] OE on use of DMC-3000

Seabrook Station just implemented the DMC-3000s and we ran into an issue with
some clip breakage within the first week. We would be interested in the
following information that could be provided by sites using DMC-3000s:

1. Have you seen similar issue with the clips? And if so, how have you
dealt with the issue? (Please send pictures if you can)

2. Seabrook's practice is to double clip SRDs, using both a strap-clip
and the integral SRD clip, to help avoid dropped SRD alarms. How do you have
your workers clip on the DMC-3000? (Any pictures of your clipping method would
be helpful)

3. Seabrook is applying a 5% (1.05) calibration off-set to the DMC-3000
(versus a 12% applied to the DMC-2000). What off set are you applying to the
DMC-3000 to help match the DLR?

4. What has been your overall experience with DMC-3000?

Any information at all would be helpful. You can respond directly to me at the
contact information below.

Thank you for your time,
