Just a couple quick questions if anybody has any information they are willing
to share.
1. What contingency process does your station have in place for protected
area egress in cases of total power loss to your exit portal monitors at your
gatehouse(s)?
* Do you have battery backup or generator sources of power? Yes, UPS
with battery backup. We have used a portable generator for extended power loss
* Do you source check the portals daily? Weekly
* Do you take credit for them in your RP program? They are included as
part of the passive internal monitoring program and part of "defense in depth"
to ensure radioactive material does not exit the protected area
2. Broad benchmark of internal dosimetry programs/whole body counting. Any
procedures you have related to dose assignment within your RP program if you
are willing to share.
