BTW, why doesn't a system developer and leader like Cyril is - one of
the main initiators of the Polaris ""Community"" project - get the
tiniest (List-)response on above question/suggestion (which is a very
good one) ?

There is no reasonable explanation for this, except something was wrong.
But in a world, where not even 4 ridiculous libs can be redistributed
(binary versions).
SunOS is mostly open source, T1 is, the sun4v-simulator is GPL2, whatever.
And then there is that DLJ covered "Distro-JDK" wich depends on ...
