We debated creating an upgrade card, but RoHS made this completely impractical. Plus, even Freescale is not recommending the 744X and some parts numbers have already been discontinued. Many will never be RoHS compliant. We are going to make something of the EFIKA and the next generation EFIKA SoC which we helped design. It will be ready in June 2007.
