Just wanted to pass along an update. Today here in the Labs we have been able
to build a native solaris kernel, successfully downloading to the ODW target
and actually began some early kernel initialization (locore->
mlsetup->startup). Currently we are using the JTAG tools to get the code down
there and step. A bit of work went into the build to get /psm (prom)
incorporated along with the uts/chrp and uts/ppc framework we have added and
upgrading the makefiles to bring in the items we need. While we had initial
thoughts that perhaps the 2.6 code could be leveraged more directly it really
only is good for a reference to draw from.

So here we have an environment that allows us to build and debug on the target.
Once we have something spitting out the console we'll push out the branch. FYI,
we do have a code release process that we have to follow before anything can go
out, so this adds to our tasks. :(

It's a start. Tom
