My understanding is that the Blastware discussions are about the Polaris port work ( PowerPC port ). Other distribution architectures have not been proposed yet unless you feel that Blastware is a tri-arch distro. A very adventurous idea. Like having the Windows NT 3.51 install CD which said PPC, ARM, Dec alpha, x86, Sparc and who knows what else on it. There was a copy of NT for Sparc but it never saw the light of day. I also don't think that a copy existed for ARM but who knows. In any case a single super distro is interesting but for the moment the only one that Blastware relates to is the PowerPC port. I think that the powerpc-discuss list at opensolaris.org was created afterwards. Dennis
