Has anyone tried to build GRUB from within Mac OS X 10.4.3? I was going to get acquainted with the source, but when I execute configure, I get the following error:
checking whether works for absolute addresses... configure: error: gcc cannot link at address 2000 Any reason why the Apple GCC compiler won't allow absolute address linking? Am I going to need a linux environment?
