Yes, schemes are actually a different beast. They are determined by the
scheme_ prefix, and what you see in the frontend is probably the name
from "SCHEME_NAME". Of course, 2 schemes with the same SCHEME_NAME should
at least give a loud warning in syslog, accompanied by the corresponding
filenames, and that in your case exactly the wrong scheme was picked, is
a bad coincidence...

I'll think about a solution (which might just be a README.scheme-names in
/etc/powersave ;-), for now just name your backup scheme_powersave.20060702~
since all files ending in '~' are ignored anyway.
