When I upgrade hal on my system, the hal service has to be restarted. Kpowersave instantly displays a popup telling me the connection with hal has been lost. If you check after this message, the service is still running, so there's no problem and kpowersave is complaining without reason. So I suggest kpowersave tries multiple time to reconnect with hal and when the connection is really lost for more than X seconds (say, 30), then the popup is displayed. WDYT ?
