There are a few ways to reconnect; rmmod bcm43xx and then modprobe bcm43xx works, but better than that if i switch to offline mode before suspending i can then bring it back online from knetworkmanager, Should kpowersave know this? somehow kpowersave and knetwork manager should communicate before the suspention to ram... also.. are these emails below how i should submit bug reports in the future?
