No, I can't implement this in the settings dialog. This is a special problem of a IMO brocken ACPI/battery Bios. You should try to update your BIOS. If this not help I could try to check in KPowersave if both batteries are discharging and check the logic to get the overall battery time. But not sure at the moment if this would cause other problems for users with correct battery behavior.
