I'd suggest looking at the POX wiki: https://openflow.stanford.edu/display/ONL/POX+Wiki Among other things, it has a section entitled "Developing your own Components" and a list of some of the components that come with POX which you might examine the source code for. Hope that helps. -- Murphy
