This message is not necessarily indicative of a problem. Does this happen every time you ping, or just the first time? Do the pings work? Is the ethernet address shown the address of the host or the destination? Also, it seems like you might be using the master branch of POX. I would recommend trying the betta branch (git checkout betta). If I recall correctly, betta doesn't show DEBUG level log messages by default -- you'll have to enable them with log.level --DEBUG to see if the message still occurs. -- Murphy
