Does anyone have a good suggestion for an overview of the psychology of programming?
I would suggest reading a book on cognitive psychology if you are interested in mental events happening in less than a 100 second time frame and a social sciences book for longer time frames. Cognitive Psychology by Eysenck & Keane is a good read.
