Kalau bukan karena soal dana dan kurangnya visi
teknologi, seharusnya LAPAN kita dan BPPT juga bisa
bikin satelit sendiri.
Bahkan kita punya potensi lokasi peluncuran yang ideal
di garis khatulistiwa, yakni di P. waigeo, Papua.
Lokasi ideal ini akan menghemat biaya bahan bakar
dalam peluncuran roket pembawa satelit ke orbit, dus
kita bisa tawarkan jasa peluncuran satelit dengan
biaya bersaing (lebih murah dari Cape Canaveral NASA).
