*Iran to increase trade exchanges with Morocco* Tehran, Sept 19, IRNA Iran-Morocco-Trade Commerce Minister Masoud Mir-Kazemi said on Wednesday that Iran welcomes the increase of trade exchanges with Morocco. In a meeting with visiting Moroccan Energy and Mining Minister Mohammad Aboutaleb, Mir-Kazemi pointed to the potentials of Muslim countries, adding that Iran has trade exchanges with more than 175 nations. Mir-Kazemi noted that his country enjoys appropriate capabilities in different fields such as export of technical and engineering services, production of food stuff, building materials, medicines and health equipment...etc. The Iranian minister also referred to the strategic status of Morocco and its capabilities, adding that the Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes expansion of trade ties with the African country. Up to now, the two friendly countries have held four sessions of joint economic commission, he said, adding that Tehran is to host the fifth meeting in cooperation with Rabat. Creating infrastructures to promote private sector activities, organizing bilateral communication and transportation networks, and signing executive agreements are among pivotal sections of trade ties between the two countries, he noted. The Moroccan minister, for his part, expressed his country's readiness to expand trade exchanges with Iran, underlining the importance of providing facilities needed for investment.
