@absurdfarce , was wondering if you could give this a second look? I recall that we discussed that we had some thoughts about whether we could provoke a schema refresh in this case, but I think we should strongly consider just merging this as is, because it seems relatively safe and unbreaks applications that hit this case (e.g. as mentioned in #1942) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
