Review Comment:
I am just wondering why we are dealing with DEFAULT_ALTERABLE_ROLE_OPTIONS
here which is an empty set. It effectively does nothing. Is it there for cases
we ever start to support non-empty default alterable role options? I just
wonder what that might ever be. `Set.of()` is unmodifiable as well.

If it is here just for being consistent with allowedOptions I am ok with
that.
