First benchmark v24 and v23. The other improvements in v24 may have offset the
loss due to the new Athlon-friendly memory layout.
If you still want to use v23, use "FactorOverride" described in
undoc.txt. This shouldn't
cause the server any problems as long as you factor to the same depth as v24.
