Hi,
I was considering upgrading to version 24.14 of Prime95 (from 23.8.1) but
scanning the whatsnew.txt I saw ..
New features in Version 24.6 of prime95.exe
-------------------------------------------
1) Athlon users should see a 20% to 30% speed increase.
2) Pentium, Pentium II, Pentium III users should see dramatically WORSE
performance. Run version 23 instead.
and scanning forwards to Version 24.13 I didn't see that warning reversed.
So I was wondering if Prime95 version 24.14 is recommended for all cpu
types. In particular:
Pentium M 1.7GHz Windows XP
Pentium III 500Mhz Windows 98
Celeron <plain> 366Mhz Windows 98
