Looks like a random error to me. These things happen (but hopefully not very often). If you haven't recently pulled the covers off and cleaned the (inevitable) dust accumulation from around the CPU & chipset fan(s) & heatsinks, this would be A Good Idea (tm). Hold a vacuum cleaner hose somewhere close to the area to be cleaned & use a stiffish paintbrush or similar to loosen the furry pale grey deposits.
