I was running sprime 24.14.2 on kubuntu fiesty linux / kernel 2.6.20 and it was working fine but when I upgraded to kubuntu gutsy / kernel 2.6.22 sprime started crapping out with a floating point error whenever it wanted to go out to the netwaork. I switched back to mprime 24.14.2 (regular dynamic linking version) and it seems to work ok. Not sure exactly what is going on but perhaps the kernel has dropped support for some old networking calls used in sprime or something.
