MSNBC SPECIAL: IN MEMORY-A DAY WITH PRESIDENT REAGAN (PREMIERE) (11PM ET/8PM PT)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This has been an extraordinary week of remembrance in Washington and across the
country,
as Americans pay tribute to President Ronald Reagan. A little more than
twenty-three years ago, he arrived in the nation's capitol to begin his two terms in
office. In keeping with a long-lasting tradition, NBC News was granted access inside
the White House to spend a full day with the new President -- just one month into the
job.
It was the beginning of the so-called Reagan Revolution and it was already in full
swing.
We thought you'd like to see that day unfold just the way the late David Brinkley
reported
it in this NBC News Special from February of 1981.

MSNBC SPECIAL: LOVE STORY-THE REAGAN LETTERS (6AM ET/3AM PT)
It is hard to imagine Ronald Reagan without Nancy Reagan, his wife of more than half a
century. Over the years, his devotion to her has been no less complete, as
demonstrated
by a treasure trove of hundreds of love letters he wrote to her -- going back to their
earliest days together. Recently, Nancy Reagan donated those letters to the Reagan
Library in California, and published many of them in a book. It is a lasting testament
to a remarkable
love affair -- and a powerful political partnership. Hosted by Katie Couric.

TIME & AGAIN: REAGAN -AMERICAN SUCCESS STORY(P) (7AM ET/4AM PT)
Jane Pauley hosts this hour remembering the remarkable life of one of the most beloved

MSNBC SPECIAL: THE GREAT COMMUNICATOR-RONALD REAGAN IN HIS OWN WORDS (3PM ET/12PM PT)
Just about everybody agreed that Ronald Reagan was a great communicator -- a skilled
public speaker who used confidence, style and wit to make his case and send a message.
As
a radio announcer, actor, corporate spokesman, governor, and finally as President,
Reagan
honed that message and built a following. His skill at communicating -- the ability to
connect with people, and persuade them -- is among the things he is best remembered for
today. Hosted by Brian Williams.
