Yes, PRESTO identified it and generated the "Add Queue" dialog allowing 
you to create a queue via the OSPM.  The code that selects the 
make/model attempts to match the printer supplied make/model information 
with the make/model information stored in PPD files on the system.  It 
makes an attempt to find a "close" match, but right now, the matching is 
not optimal.  A quick look at the Foomatic DB on linuxprinting.org 
indicates that this particular printer works "partially" with gutenprint 
5.X.  At this time, gimp-print 4.2.6 is integrated in Solaris.  We have 
plans to upgrade it to a more current version in the next few months.
