The intention is to add this to Solaris in the next few months. While the IJS component of HPLIP can be used with Foomatic and LP, the bulk of HPLIP effectively requires SANE and CUPS. I am working on integrating CUPS in the next few weeks. Someone else is working on integrating SANE. When the dependencies are in, a current HPLIP will can go in.
