Hi,
I need to configure print spooling on a production S10 / lxBrandz Centos
3.7 environment . Linux apps need to print on the same printers as Solaris
apps.
What options / possibilities is there for Solaris and lxBrandz using
one common
set of printerdefinitions. I dont want to maintain two print spoolers in
the same
physical server.
I have ben playing with the Idea of setting up CUPS in solaris and
having the
lxBrands lp ( cups-lp ) sending the spooling requests directly to the
solaris hosted
cupsd. Has anyone done that ?
Can the Solaris IPP -server be used in any way ?
(ie is there a linux IPP client I can use ? )
