 This could be a case of incorrect PPD file is chosen. Are you able to find the 
exact match PPD file for this printer like th eone you have chosen using 
PrintMgr?

Hmm, Bogus.. Need to check this text for this. It is probably tries to say 
Bogus printer...

Ther is no smf service for this since this is per session process. But you can 
remove,
/usr/share/gnome/autostart/ospm-applet.desktop
logout and login again.

Also pkill ospm-applet for about 10 times should kill it off for the session.
