OK, this is bug 6586341. To copy and paste in the work arround:

make /usr/lib/ospm/lp-queue-helper suid lp
        # chown lp /usr/lib/ospm/lp-queue-helper
        # chmod 4555 /usr/lib/ospm/lp-queue-helper
Update /etc/user_attr for the user, do not put All at the end of the profiles 
field.

So, now I can see my printer, but it is printing out the postscript commands, 
not rendering them into graphics. Joy.
