I am using Solaris 10 Update 4 with Trusted Extensions. I would like to the
banner page show what labeled zone the print job is from. If I print from a
zone called unclassified it should show unclassified on the banner page. I
have a printer attached to the LP port and configured in global zone as an
attached printer. The following is how I have configured my system.
The printer is connected to system wks1 ?192.168.1.1?
Global zone on wks1:
Configured MLP for Global
Printmgr
New Attached Printer
Printer Name: Printer
Description: Laser Printer
Printer Port: /dev/lp1
Printer Make: Generic
Printer Driver: Generic PostScript Printer
Default Printer
Unclassified zone:
lpadmin ?p Printer ?s 192.168.1.1\!Printer
lpadmin ?d Printer
The current banner looks like this
